Coming from a farming background on the outskirts of Melbourne, Chris has worked in private practices both in a major regional centre and in capital cities, servicing clients, both large and small, across Australia, New Zealand and Asia-Pacific, for over seventeen years. Chris has extensive experience in commercial litigation, corporate law, business law and employment law.  Prior to joining Kelledy Jones, Chris was a Director at a commercial firm which provided advice and representation to non-profit organisations, large multi-national companies, small businesses and family farms in both Victoria and South Australia as well as local government authorities and other statutory bodies, including a range of water authorities in Victoria.

Chris’ aim is always to seek practical, commercial and efficient outcomes. Chris is a strong litigator and advocate in Courts and Tribunals of all levels, both State and Federal and a skilled negotiator in mediations and conciliations. Chris is available to assist clients in employment law matters as well as more general commercial, regulatory, governance and litigation matters.

Chris is acknowledged as an experienced and approachable lawyer and is regularly invited to speak at various conferences and seminars. He is also directly involved in supporting a range of non-profit organisations, currently chairing the Board of the Hewett Centre, as well as providing volunteer support and assistance to a range of other organisations.
